Oh So sCANDLEous!!! (Review & Giveaway)

Let's face it, being a "Glow Girl" isn't always the most easiest task ( I mean we're practically super heroes!!!)  Although very rewarding sometimes it can be down right hectic & stressful. Whether it's the 9-5, mommy time or shopping for those jaw dropping bargains; we all need a "getaway" every once in awhile. While a trip to the spa may seem like the perfect remedy it might not always be the most convenient solution. So what's a girl to do?

I was extremely enthused when I was first introduced to the Scandle "Body Massage Candle" which is a fragrance candle and a body oil all in one. Mmmmm sounds interesting hunh?

I'm a lover of therapeutic smells, so an aromatherapy candle in "Uplifting Blend" was my scent of choice. Before opening the tin I could already smell the enchanting aromas seeping through.

The instructions stated to burn the candle for about 30 minutes or just until it melted towards the edge of the tin.

After the half hour was up a delightful scent filled the air and I was left with a nice little pool of oil.

One of the most interesting facts about the Scandle is that it only burns 2 degrees above the natural body temperature which promotes and produces a soothing & healthy body oil.

I decided to try it on my hands and this stuff literally melts right into your skin.

I expected it to feel waxy but it actually feels really creamy & plentiful.

What It Claims: To create a soothing oil that's perfect for massages, cuticle treatments, manicures/pedicures and an everyday moisturizer.

Likes: A little definitely goes a long way. You don't need much on your skin because its very rich. I also liked the fact that it doesn't leave an oily or greasy residue, it soaks all the way into your skin.

Dislikes: I can't really call it a dislike but I did notice that after a couple hours the scent doesn't really linger in your skin. Which is okay for me b/c it's a moisturizer not a perfume!

Would I Recommend It?: Umm is the sky blue?? I certainly would and it would make a perfect gift!

Overall: I absolutely LOVE the concept of it. In this day in age who doesn't like a product with multiple uses? Scandle is definitely a winner in my book! Whether you're trying to relieve a little stress by lighting a candle with therapeutic scents, maintaining your skins moisture & smelling yummy at the same time or maybe indulging in a little one on one massage with your honey ;o) this product has all of that covered...
